Camomile - Anthemis nobilis
Camomile is a perennial herbaceous plant of the Asteraceae family. It measures 10 to 30 cm in height and has hairy stems. At their summit are the floral capitula, scented and solitary, quite similar to those of the daisy. It grows spontaneously in fields and hedgerows in Asia Minor and Europe.
Traditions:It has always been well-known for its medicinal properties, in particular antispasmodic. Used in the rinsing water it was said to prevent the hair from falling out. It adds gold highlights to blond hair.
Properties:Camomile extract, obtained by hydrodistillation of the flowers, has softening, calming and soothing properties. It is particularly suited to delicate skin or skin damaged by external aggressions.
